Estonia’s producer prices decreased further in November, though at a slower pace than in the previous month, figures from Statistics Estonia showed Monday.

The producer price index fell 1.7 percent year-over-year in November, following a 2.2 percent drop in October.

The annual decline in November was largely influenced by a 7.5 percent sharp decline in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply.

Prices in the manufacturing sector slid 1.5 percent, while mining and quarrying prices grew by 3.8 percent.

On a monthly basis, producer prices dropped 0.3 percent in November, after a 0.2 percent fall in the preceding month.

Import prices dipped 4.4 percent in November from a year ago and edged down 0.2 percent from a month earlier.

Similarly, export price index slipped 3.6 percent yearly and by 0.3 percent monthly in November.
